Teaching Assistant (Mental Health)

Hours:
Full time; Term Time only


Pay:
£77 - £85 Per day


The Supply Room is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a specialist school based on the outskirts of central Southampton.

This school values a strong family community within the school and is looking for someone that will be a good fit for this.

You will be supporting pupils who have an EHCP (Educational, Healthcare, Plan) in place to better support them with their needs.


You will provide specialist teaching assistant experience on a one-to-one and small group basis specific to the pupils' needs - ensuring and providing a tailored approach throughout the learning/development process.

You will also develop tasks and learning activities that benefit their specific needs to ensure the best possible learning experience for them.

Overall, you will develop a trusting and supportive relationship with the pupil and support them with anything they need inside the classroom as well as helping them develop skills that also impact their day do day life in a positive way.
