Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in supporting Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) children at our primary school in S20 area of Sheffield.

This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of young learners, providing them with a strong foundation for future success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Support individual and small group activities to enhance pupils cognitive and social development.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere to ensure all children feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to implement effective teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working with Early Years children is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are preferable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
