Position: Teaching Assistant
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Location: Sheffield
Contract: January 2024 to July 202
Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Pay: £8085 per day

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in supporting Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) children at our primary school in S20 area of Sheffield.

This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of young learners, providing them with a strong foundation for future success.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Support individual and small group activities to enhance pupils cognitive and social development.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere to ensure all children feel valued and supported.
Collaborate with the teaching team to implement effective teaching strategies and interventions.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience working with Early Years children is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are preferable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
