Description

We are currently looking for a Site-Supervisor for one of our clients who flourishes in roofing projects. This is going to be a full time Permanent job with a full-time salary and an excellent benefits structure. This job is open for three locations

North Devon (Bude, Bideford), Central Plymouth, Somerset.

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of roofing contracts, maintaining safety standards, and overseeing project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage multiple roofing projects simultaneously for large scale developers, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, within budget and to specification.
Conduct preproject site assessments and inspections to identify potential risks, develop work plans, and allocate resources accordingly.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards, actively addressing any deviations or issues that arise.
Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols onsite, conducting regular toolbox talks and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
Manage project resources, including labour, equipment, and materials.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry, preferably in roofing projects.
Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
Strong leadership and decisionmaking skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
Valid driver's license and willingness to work as part of a team.
