We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in home care to join our team of Healthcare assistants.

This is a full-time position that involves caring for vulnera adults in their homes


Responsibilities:


Personal care :
Bathing, washing, toileting, oral care, mobility support, skin care, feeding

Promoting and delivering a person-centred support culture across the service

• Supporting people with all aspects of their daily living as per their support plan, this may include support adminitering medication
• Supporting and coaching people to learn independent living skills like cooking and laundry tasks
• Supporting people to access the community for social, educational or employment opportunities
• Safeguarding service users' rights and dignity
• Taking an active role in peoples support plans and risk assessment's
• Provide effective communication within the team and attending regular team & service user meetings
• To liaise professionally with family members and other professionals.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 36 months


Salary:
From £10.10 per hour


Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cumbria: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
