Description
A main contractor is recruiting a Sub Agent for a £160m highways project on behalf of National Highways.

The business are a tier one company who genuinely look after their employees by offering career progression, opportunities to move between differentsectors and support throughout your chartership journey.


The project is underway and is due for completion in the main scope of work is to construct a new dual carriageway north of the existing road with new junctions, a bridge and underpasses etc.


The Sub Agent role will compromise of supporting the Site Agents and Project Manager by taking ownership of a package of work and ensuring programme and quality is met through close management of subcontractors and a direct workforce.


Sub Agent duties include:

  • Support the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
  • Writing risk assessments and method statements
  • Manage quality assurance documentation
  • Assist in production and integration of 3week programmes
  • Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
  • Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
  • Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
  • Managing RFI's and Technical Queries
