Finance Business PartnerNorthampton, Hybrid working
18 month contract
£40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
We're looking for a Finance Business Partner/Senior Finance Analyst on behalf of a global manufacturing business for an 18 month contract.
Operating in 49 countries, and with several sites in the UK, you will work from their Northampton office and will workas part of a small, friendly, and well-established finance team.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as a business partner to Managers / Execs challenging on financial performance issues
- Management information development to build on existing dashboard including identification of suitable pipeline / lead indicator and benchmark metrics
- Work alongside FPRM and CFO to increase quality of analysis in monthly reporting and forecast preparation
- Proactively work to identify business issues that are barriers to achieving / exceeding financial projections
- Work with CFO and President to develop countermeasures vs performance barriers with Exec team
- Support operational efficiency agenda, with CFO, Head of HR and President
- Work with CFO and President on communication of key performance issues
- Ad hoc financial modelling / business case preparation
- Act as a mentor to the Financial Analyst / Assistant Accountant,
- Coordinate financial planning process, including annual budgets and reforecasts
- Support Financial Analyst in preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis, and other regular reporting
- Assist in the development of business performance data and analysis for Directors and Managers
- Ad hoc financial modelling / business case preparation
- Support VAT and other statutory reporting
- Support and manage payroll processing using HRIS ensuring information is accurate and correct
- An accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA) or suitable experience in a finance/accountancy environment
- Strong intermediate knowledge and experience of Excel
- Costing in a complex ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning process software) environment
- SAP ERP experience
- Preparation of management accounts and forecasts
- Previous business analysis experience
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to influence well at all
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers and stakeholders
Package - Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience, 25 days annual leave plus statutory, pension, life assurance, private medical insurance.
