Every year we hire out or loan over 75,000 wheelchairs to help get people moving again after an illness or an injury.

You could help our Mobility Aids service by answering phone calls to ensure those in need are able to access a wheelchair when they require one.


Volunteers will be based in the British Red Cross office in Omagh.


We are looking for volunteers who are available to volunteer for at least one 4-hour shift per week on a regular basis.


Shifts available Monday to Friday, 9 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm.
The service hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm.

For this role, volunteers will be using the British Red Cross telephony system and internal IT systems. A good level of IT skills is essential for this role. Full training and support on how to use the systems will be provided.
