The Role:


Design

  • Working with Clients, Consultants, Client Managers, Systems Configuration, Broking teams, and benefits providers to agree and document:
  • The client benefit design and build requirements in the Benefits Requirements Specification
  • The website content requirements in line with benefit design and client requirements, including collation of benefit provider information and policy documents

Data

  • Preparing data for legacy benefit selections in line with design requirements and system configuration, and other ad hoc data files as required at implementation
  • Undertaking data analysis including completion of the engagement and benefit takeup stats following the enrolment window

Testing

  • Help to define test strategies to ensure internal teams and clients complete effective system testing
  • Undertake design functionality system testing and resolve issues with the System Configuration team prior to handover to client.
  • Coordinate client feedback and issue resolution during client testing

Client management support

  • Point of contact for design queries raised by the client, administration, broking and configuration teams, escalating to the Client Managers as appropriate
  • Support and preparation for project kickoff and planning meetings
  • Support the team with project scope documentation defining agreed changes and fees
  • Participate in regular internal and client meetings/calls as appropriate
  • Provide input into change control processes, helping to identify required effort, risks and mitigating actions

Internal Support

  • Support the effective operation of the Design Consulting team by sharing knowledge, ideas and solutions and identifying areas where internal processes/the service to clients can be improved
  • Assist in other flexible benefit consulting projects when required
  • Support and contribute to revenue growth opportunities within the flexible benefits consulting team
  • Provide an efficient, professional service delivery to meet all client's needs and promote the WTW brand
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the UK benefits market and client's flexible benefits scheme design and requirements
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams within the Health and Benefits line of business and the wider organisation

The Requirements:


  • Experience in flexible benefits/employee benefits
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good analytical and numerical reasoning skills
  • Able to document detailed client requirements in system design specifications
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and able to articulately adapt style to suit the purpose and audience
  • Excellent planning, time management and organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Able to work quickly, but accurately in a professional environment.
  • Able to learn quickly, use own initiative and organise own workload effectively
  • Prepared to put in the extra effort when needed to meet challenging deadlines
  • Demonstrate a 'can do' attitude, overcoming any problems as they arise
  • Prepared to show initiative where appropriate, but equally prepared to take instructions from others to contribute to projects across the whole department
