Description
I am looking for a Building Surveyor in the Hertfordshire are. You will be assisting in the property services and asset management side of capital and revenue maintenance. You will be required to carry out planned and responsive surveys on the commercialstock. Mileage and hybrid working will be provided for the successful applicant.


Building Surveyor responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the project through the design and construction phases to successful completion and agreed final account
  • To be responsible for the appointment and monitoring of contractors, professional consultants e.g. architects quantity surveyors, engineers etc., so that the construction/maintenance projects are achieved according to specification and within budget
  • To carry out liaison with clients department to ascertain clients briefing requirement and to ensure that clients are kept fully aware of the progress of the projects under the post holders control
  • To undertake condition surveys of Council owned buildings as directed to ensure that contract and lease conditions as well as Health and Safety requirements are being met

The successful Building Surveyor will need:

  • Significant relevant experience in the management and procurement of maintenance and refurbishment Projects.
  • Experience in a similar role.
