Role Details
Title Accounts Payable Assistant
Reports To:
Accounts Payable Manager
Role Purpose
The purpose of role is to process purchase invoices/staff expenses ensuring all adhere to Company approval/procedures, and any other ad hoc duties as required.
Core Responsibilities
- Purchase ledger invoice entry
- Coding/matching and processing purchase invoices
- Coding/processing invoice journals
- Seeking invoice approval from relevant managers
- Managing, keeping track and distributing/coding staff expenses
- Identifying/resolving invoice queries with departments and managers
- Taking credit card payments
- Any other adhoc duties
Experience required
- Proficient Microsoft skills including Word and Excel
- Experience of working with all levels of an organisation.
- Lively personality and team player.
- Previous office/accounts experience preferred
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work on their own initiative and within a Team
- Organised with good written and verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy skills
Job Type:

Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary:
£21,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
