Are you someone who is passionate about developing your portfolio of account, Networking and Building relationships with your customers?


At Glassolutions we are looking for
an Area Sales Manager to work out of our
Cardiff Branch,helping to drive sales for specified products within a given territory, enriching mix and share of desired wallet from existing accounts.


This
Area Sales Managerwell be a part of
a driven and sales focused team which covers a catchment area around South Wales, South Midlands, Dudley, Derby, Bristol, Bath, Hereford and Worcester and will be working closelywith the internal sales team, Regional Managers in our branches across your region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build on the excellent work the team have done to build a commercially success and vibrant area which will allow you to demonstrate yourflair for business development and maximizing customer spending in a business unit where your efforts get noticed and career development and progression is there for you to grab.


What we're looking for:


  • Experience of working within the glass industry is key but we will consider Sales Professionals from other sectors within building materials sales.
  • Highly strong commercial, financial and business acumen
  • Strong diary management, appointment making and area management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to gather and share market intel with internal sales and Branch Sales Managers
  • Ability to grow and develop lapsed / dormant accounts

What you will be doing:


  • Reporting into the Commercial Director with the aim of building and developing our commercial performance of our products and identify tactical areas of growth.
  • Managing 7080 core customers, new customers and sales opportunities across your catchment area
  • Analyzing customer spend, working with the internal sales to gather intel, following leads,
  • Managing your own diary, booking client visits, through the effective management and development of a portfolio of customers.
  • Being visible is key, 3 days a week on the road and 2 days in your local branch
