What you'll be doing

  • Developing, implementing, monitoring and enforcing the company's corporate Health and Safety Management policies.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely production of all statistics and reports required by the IoI Health and Safety Manager, Corporate Management Team of the local H&S Committee to assist them in strategic planning.
  • Participating in Risk Assessments of activities
  • Ensuring that appropriate business continuity management plans are developed and implemented.
  • Demonstrating visible commitment, promoting the health and safety policy aims and objectives throughout their role.
  • Leading on H&S matters, identifying issues, challenging behaviours and providing concise recommendations.
  • Conducting trend analysis of relevant H&S data

What you'll need

  • Hold a Nebosh Certificate Qualification or equivalent in Health and Safety.
  • Previous experience in a Safety Officer/Advisor role
  • Previous experience in transport logistics and warehousing as a Health and Safety Officer
  • Be willing to travel dependent on business needs
  • Be willing to work outside core contracted hours depending on business needs

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
