Production Technician - 25k-32k - Surrey
My client are a UK defence operator specialising in Communications and Electronic Systems.

Due to continued success, they're looking to grow their team with a Production Technician to help with the Electronic and Mechanical assembly of equipment from developmentthrough to the ongoing support of production.


Main Duties:


  • Experience of electronic and mechanical assembly
  • Making sure that all H&S requirements are met
  • Monitoring the safety of tools and equipment
  • Ensuring looms are produced against wiring schedules
  • Ability to kit parts and hand tools to complete assembly
  • Surface mount experience and certification in line with IPC standards

Key skills:


  • Minimum of 2 GCSEs, ideally in Maths and English
  • Ability to obtain UK security clearance
  • Knowledge of electronic components
  • Skilled in using hand tools and test equipment
  • Computer proficiency
  • Competent in IPC 610 and 620 standards
The salary will be between £25,000-£32,000 depending on experience.
