Hertsmere is looking for an experienced
Band 7 Haematology/ Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract.

Spire Pathology Services is one of the UKs largest networks of accredited laboratories.

In 2015, their 22 specialist laboratories and 200 staff carried out more than two million tests from a simple full blood count to a complex tumourmarker.

Job Role:

Monday
Friday
37.5 h/week
You will be part of an experienced and supportive pathology team working within a stateoftheart lab
Plan, analyse, assess and report pathology investigations
Analyse, interpret and report information and knowledge related to ideas and concepts
Develop and evaluate the movement of laboratory specimens, blood and tissues

Qualifications and Experience required:
-
HCPC registered as a BMS:

Must hold a degree in Biomedical Sciences and have significant experience within haematology and biochemistry
Minimum of 4 years post qualifying experience
Specialist Portfolio in Biochemistry is an advantage
Experience in staff supervision, training, and QMS
