Your role
- Do you have experience of Funds (Unit trusts/ OEICS/ Hedge Funds etc), be it in a back or front office capacity? Are you a serviceoriented team player? Are you seeking a new challenge?
- This is an exciting opportunity, to join our Wealth Management London Execution Services team, where you will be providing execution services, liquidity solutions and guidance on a broad spectrum of asset classes, but with a specific focus on funds. In time, you can also expect to gain exposure and experience in global equity, bonds and structured products.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all relevant order management and execution systems
- Take ownership of and proactively manage all fund order/ execution related issues
- Place client fund order flow with both internal and external counterparties
- Secondary responsibilities will involve the monitoring of WM order flow in a broader range of asset classes
- Facilitate WM client order flow by providing liquidity, through sourcing internal and external solutions
- Manage trading, execution, operational and compliance risk by collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Manage trade execution and relationship development with our internal clients
- Maintain accurate records with regards to the placing of deals, their execution and associated trade confirmations
- Ensure that all regulatory and internal policies, procedures are followed/ enforced
- Use your industry experience, to enhance and add value to your role, the team, and the WM client experience.
Your team
- You will be based onsite in our London campus, working as part of a small, but highly experienced team of three people, reporting into the team lead
- We provide advice, liquidity solutions, and execution services, in a simple, intuitive, and flexible way, covering a wide range of assets that includes Hedge Funds, OEIC, UCITS &unit trusts, but extends to global equity, fixed income & structured products
- Passionate about the client experience, with a commercially driven mindset
Your expertise
- It would be advantageous to have knowledge and experience of funds (unit trust, OEIC,
- Ideally, you have passed the CISI Investment Advice Diploma. Otherwise, you will be
- Knowledge of capital markets, market structure and technology would be a bonus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable in facing off to people at all
- A strong team ethic, diligent and detail orientated
- Able to work under pressure, to very tight timelines and within a complex organisation
- A strong analytical problem solver
- An adept communicator and collaborator, able to adapt their style to a demanding and
- A selfstarter, who is diligent, full of drive and energy and who relishes the challenge
- Extremely organized, with great planning skills and efficient time management
