An award winning cyber security consultancy is looking to recruit a senior incident response consultant to strengthen their SOC team.

With 195% growth in personnel in the past 2 years and a 75% increase in revenue year on year this represents an exciting opportunity for an experienced incident response consultant to join a rapidly expanding SME.

• Performing forensic collections, intrusion correlation and tracking, threat analysis and direct system remediation.
• Incident scope, urgency and impact assessment and subsequent recommendation and organization of remediation tasks.
• Individual host, network traffic, firewall and intrusion detection system log analysis.
• Holistic communication of incidents to a variety of technical and nontechnical client stakeholders.

• At least 2 years' experience in incident response with familiarity of technical security e.g. digital forensics, network management, vulnerability testing, intrusion detection and prevention and risk management.
• Superb stakeholder communication granted from a consultancy/MSSP background or experience in an internal role within critical national infrastructure (CNI), oil/gas, telecommunications, or Government.
• Eligible for, or currently holding, UK security clearance.
• A degree in computer science or related field along with a general (e.g. CISSP, CISM etc...) or incident response specific (e.g. GIAH, GIAC, ECIH etc...) security certification is preferred.

Additionally the role is remote, however bimonthly attendance in an office in south Wales is compulsory hence a base in south west UK is mandatory.
