Nifty50 Films are expanding and we're looking for a Junior Editor / Editing Assistant to join us in our Wandsworth based office for a two month contract beginning in January 2023, with potential to expand to a longer contract.

Nifty50 is a fast-growing production company working predominantly in commercials across the luxury, sports and fashion sectors.


About this role:

You will be working on a series of outdoor workout videos for an American fitness brand.

Your role will involve the following responsibilities:

• Working in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Maintaining consistent organisation with files and within Premiere projects to match our workflows
• Syncing multiple cameras and audio sources to create Multicam timelines
• Making selects from footage to pull out the best quality Broll
• Overlaying relevant Broll onto the main edit to add interest and to better tell the story
• Creating exports in specific formats and queueing in Media Encoder
• Watching back edits and providing notes of any errors and inconsistencies
• Working within our clients brand guidelines

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong organisation skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Clear communicator
• Strong teamwork skills

Optional Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and other Adobe software
• Relevant degree or professional experience is ideal but not essential
• Storytelling abilities
• Understanding of colour codecs and grading for different cameras
• Sound mixing skills

Contract Details:

• Full time, 2 month contract with potential for extension
• Hours 9.30AM 6PM Mon-Fri
• Working from our office in Wandsworth, London
• Ideal start date is Monday 9th Jan 2023

Salary:
£2,000.00-£3,500.00 per month
