    Job Title: Head of Security Governance Risk and Compliance, Assurance Directorate

    The Assurance Directorate is responsible for delivering professional risk, compliance, assurance, information compliance, and information security services across the University.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the strategic planning and delivery of the cross-University approach for the governance and management of information security risk and compliance.

    This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to ground-breaking research that tackles global challenges.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in Cyber GRC, along with experience of managing a team of technical specialists.

    You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, able to drive change in a large non-centralised organisation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and implementation of information security risk management frameworks and reporting tools.
    • Plan and implement systems for automation of GRC activities.
    • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide thought leadership on information security GRC.
