We are recruiting for a Production Operative on days to work in a gas distributor based in West Bromwich.

Details of a Production Operative - Days

Hours: 8am 5pm or 7am 4pm Monday to Friday
Temp to perm after 12 weeks

- £10.9

West Brom
Ideally with someone with gas experience but not preferred.

Role of a Production Operative - Days

Performing all required prefill and postfill inspections before cylinders are released.
Ensuring cylinders are properly maintained.
Attention to detail regarding labelling of cylinders
Inspecting associated pressure gauges
Filling cylinders or containers to proper pressure weight
Preparing and arranging transport and documents for shipping
Process orders in accordance with work instructions. Including correct packaging of material.
Ensuring all goods leave on time
Ensure safe handling of products
Completing daily check sheets
Operating a forklift truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment and if the first user of the day complete daily inspection sheet for the forklift.
Assisting with loading and unloading the trucks
Packing cylinders as per customers requirements
Must be details orientated with good writing skills to complete handwritten compliance documentation accurately and neatly.
