Description

Our client, a scientific product manufacturer based near Royston, is looking for a Production Assembly Technician to join their team.

This is a full time role, reporting to the Production Team Leader.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Electro-Mechanical assembly of scientific instrumentation.
  • Electrical safety testing and pressure testing.
  • Carrying out factory acceptance tests during and after the assembly process.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults on products during the assembly process.
  • Reporting issues to the Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure our products are continuously improved.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • High motivation, enthusiasm and the willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Good timekeeping and organisational skills.
