An exciting opportunity has become available at Wellpets, they are seeking their final Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-equipped first opinion, small animal practice in Sittingbourne, Kent.
The daily workload includes a variety of first opinion consultations and surgery whilst being involved in clinical governance, mentoring/coaching of other vets, clinical staff and also liaising with the Practice Manager.

Salary for the role is up to £63,000 depending on experience.
About Us
Wellpets are a group of 3 small animal branches in Kent and we are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Vet to work at our busy practice in Sittingbourne in Kent.
We have excellent facilities such as, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and brand-new in-house lab with a well-established team of friendly staff at all of our branches.
With great train links to London, award winning Blue Flag beaches and Elmley Nature Reserve nearby, Sittingbourne is a lovely place to be.
About the Team and Culture
We have a long-standing team of 4 Vets, 3 RVN, 1 SVN, 2 ANA and 5 support staff working across our 3 sites.
We encourage our Nurses to use their skills and knowledge within practice through nurse clinics, advising clients about their pet's health and welfare and supporting the Vet team.

We are asking that our new Vet is experienced in small animal medicine and surgery. We expect good communication skills and confidence with clients.
A positive, can-do attitude is also important along with being able to work as part of a friendly busy team.
