Would you like to be a part of a team that is committed to delivering an outstanding service and a range of personalised support for young people?

Have you worked in youth or homelessness services before? Or have lived experience and are looking to further develop, bring passion and expertise to the team?

At the Cardinal Hume Centre, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a full life, but we know that homelessness and poverty can wreck that potential.

We are looking to recruit a Support and Advocacy Practitioner in our Supported Accommodation team. We are passionate about supporting young adults experiencing homelessness and breaking its cycle in later life. We see value in each individual and nurture potential to see our residents thrive.

As a Support & Advocacy Practitioner, you will use psychologically and trauma informed approaches to support our residents to develop new ways of thinking and to make steps towards independence.

You will lead on co-producing bespoke support and move-on plans, involving key stakeholders such as Social Workers, Personal Advisors and other support providers where appropriate.

You will be joining the team on a rota which will include weekend and Bank Holiday working. You will work a mix of early, late and flexi/cover shifts. An early shift is 8am-4pm and a late shift is 12.30pm-8.30pm.

If you are on a flexi shift, we may ask you to cover an early or late, otherwise your shift must be worked between the hours of 8am and 8.

30pm, but the start time is your choice
