Reporting to the Management Accountant, your role will involve:
Main duties and responsibilities
- Assisting with project cost estimation, collation, monitoring and reporting, ensuring the information is correct and accurate, preparing monthly information (revenue and project profit) for management accounts, and assisting with identifying and analysing overruns, discrepancies and monthly variances.
- Participating in project meetings and capture financial information to assist in monthly reporting and forecasting.
- Involvement in the preparation of weekly flash revenue forecast and maintaining up to date cost estimates to completion.
- Preparing regular financial reports and forecasts for project teams as required.
- Tracking sales invoicing to ensure projects are being accurately invoiced on a timely basis.
- Assist Management Accountant with work in progress and cost to completion for monthly management accounts.
- Ensuring information captured in the company's forecasting system is kept up to date with sales order information.
- Supporting initiatives to improve accuracy of capture and reporting of information.
- Managing job numbers, ensuring jobs are raised and closed in a timely manner.
- Assisting with annual financial audit and other annual reporting requirements.
