Senior FP&A Accountant / Finance Business Partner

£60,000 per annum + car allowance (£ suite of benefits

North London (close proximity to Kings Cross) - hybrid working - 2 days per week office based

Are you an ambitious newly qualified finance professional looking for an exciting new challenge?

Are you commercially-minded with a track record of success within financial business partnering or FP&A?

You'll be joining a thriving subsidiary of a large UK property and construction group (£bn turnover).


It's an incredibly rewarding, interesting and ambitious group to be part of and you'll gain exposure to exciting projects and contracts.


Your remit will include a full range of added value commercially focused activities (rather than core month endy stuff and things) - budgeting, forecasting, planning, modelling, what if scenarios, mid range planning, lots of business partnering, projectanalysis and costing, variance and trend reporting.


You'll be given very clear headroom for career development and progression - you'll also have valuable opportunity to own your own projects.

A great balance of freedom and autonomy coupled with support and mentoring when required.


The business also invests heavily in the wellbeing of their team - your role is hybrid working with plenty of flexibility (2 days per week in the office in London).

It's a role for someone bright and ambitious who sees their career within forward-facing finance - looking at forecasts and decision making rather than retrospective reporting and control

You'll be a commercially minded individual recently qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA ideally (or looking to qualify ASAP).

Background in FP&A / management accounting / business partnering is required.


You need to be someone who loves being given the freedom to make a difference and drive change - there are lots of projects alongside the routine BAU and you need to be someone who enjoys spinning those plates.

You need:

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA recently completed.
  • Excellent core accounting and analytical skills with previous knowledge of FP&A.
  • A natural interest in business and keenness to work in a rapid growth setting.
  • Great Excel skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills and confidence when working with a non finance audience.
