The Warren Lodge Hotel, Shepperton is a 50 bedroomed hotel in Church Square, walking distance from the high street and Shepperton Station.

The hotel is looking for a General Assistant to work with the hotel operations including reception, bar, restaurant and function suites.

General Scope and Purpose:
To provide efficient and courteous drinks and food service to guests. Covering Reception when required including checking in and out of guests, taking payments, and making room bookings. Generally assisting colleagues where necessary to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
To maintain a high standard of service while maximising the efficiency and profit of the food and drinks service.

To maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the Restaurant, Bar Lounge, Terraces and function areas.

To take orders from customers quickly and efficiently, whilst ensuring you maintain a high standard of service.

Ensure clean and polished cutlery and glasses are readily available throughout services.

Prepare accompaniments (sauces and dressings).

Ensure all tables are correctly set up for service.

Deal with any customer comments in a polite and pleasant manner, if a complaint is made inform your Manager immediately.

No previous experience is necessary as training will be given, however it would be an advantage.
