Description

We are urgently looking for 4 machine operators to work for a major company in Clitheroe, on alternate shifts of 6am - 2pm and 2pm -10pm.

The roles are temporary but ongoing and would be to start as soon as possible

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Define overall purpose of the job

Manufacture and maintain presses and the washbay, degreasing and extraction processes to ensure that

production targets are met whilst ensuring that quality is built into the manufacturing process.

List Key Responsibilities

Maintain a throughput on machines to achieve output and targets whilst meeting quality standards and

ensuring that safe working practices are maintained at all times.

Provide temporary cover for colleagues who have to leave their machine(s) whilst still in operation.
Load strip as required.
Oil presses with correct lubricant
Sort, clean and pack components to meet production and customer requirements.
Prepare packing materials for components.
Ensure batch integrity and correct labelling.
Carry out line clearance procedures.
Carry out basic maintenance procedures e.g. weekly machine clean downs.
Liase with maintenance to advise on machine problems.
Record press readings on statistical process charts in order to assess and, if necessary adjust, the process.
Ensure that all compliance and cGMP documentation is completed fully and accurately.
Work with and support trainees and colleagues in all departments as required.
Respond positively to and work on priority requirements.
