Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Consumer Products - Berkshire - £40K - £50K
My client specialises in developing innovative consumer products in the Berkshire area.
Due to continued success, they are looking for a senior mechanical design engineer to join their team.**
Main Duties:+ Design and develop complex mechanical assemblies using 2D and 3D CAD.
- Prototype components
- Interacting and communicating effectively within project teams in both support, and design lead roles
- Generate bill of materials for projects and work in co-operation with selected manufacturing partners**
Skills and experience required: At least three years design experience in a product design or consultancy environment - Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD (Solidworks necessary)
- Experience of developing design concepts for prototyping and manufacture. Such as, electronic hardware integration
- Ability to work independently or in a team and across multiple projects
