An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced
Maintenance
Operative to join a very busy distribution center based in
Dartford and Paddock Wood. We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join the team as a Facilities Team Member.

We are a well-established storage and Distribution Centre of fresh produce from worldwide exporters, growers and importers, with particular expertise in delivering to the UK wholesale markets.

Duties to include:

Maintain a high standard of Health & Safety on site at all times
Take ownership of and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the sites and surrounding grounds, logged on our PPM Schedules and periodic tables.
Work closely and communicate effectively with Maintenance Manager to achieve completion of jobs, these tasks include:
Plumbing
Electrical
Mechanical
Painting & Decorating
Carpentry
Groundwork
General Cleaning/Emptying Bins/Jet Washing/Tree trimming and pruning

Requirements:

General labour experience

-
Drivers license, with a clean record:

Demonstrate good customer service at all times
Good organisation skills
Selfmotivated
Team player
Reliability and dependability
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
Good knowledge of safe working practices, ability to operate within Health and Safety Guidelines
The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
