_Principal Ruby on Rails Engineer_

Are you a Senior/Principal Engineer with experience working with Ruby on Rails?

Your Salary/Package as a Job Title?

Your Job Title responsibilities?

As a Principal Engineer, you'll be working alongside multiple teams, and will be responsible for leading on and making technical decisions, providing technical direction for current work, as well as supporting software engineers within the product teams.

The Principal Engineers also works closely with the Lead Technical Architect and VP of Engineering to provide insight and direction for large scale technical projects and clear strategic planning for longer-term technical decisions.

The Principal Engineers are also in charge of managing all security and compliance related aspects of the companies code, whilst collaborating with the SRE and Scalable platform team on infrastructural decisions.

Your territory is
Londonand you will be reporting to the Lead Technical Architect.

The Principal Engineer Job for you?
Are you a proven Senior Engineer with a track record of making technical decisions and providing technical direction across multiple product teams?

Can you write robust, well-factored, modular code, alongside high-value tests?

Do you have experience working with a broad technical stack, specifically: Ruby, Rails, React, Typescript, NextJS, GraphQL, or Go?

Above all, are you curious, able to think critically, eager to learn and keen to use your experience to help and support others.

Communication skills are key, as you'll need to be able to explain things clearly whilst working in a highly collaborative environment.
