Description
Transport planner within the food wholesale industry, must be flexible with working hours anything between 6 am till 7 pm will only be expected to work 8 hours per day.
job role / dutiesTemporary position but could lead to a permanent position
Liaise with depots and drivers daily to ensure goods are being transported efficiently
Ensure driver legalisation is always met
Ensure & manage solutions to adjustments or changes to routes, loads and/or drivers efficiently
Complete drivers costing sheets on a daily basis
Debrief drivers daily, checking paperwork is correct and completed fully
Ensure ETA 's are communicated to sites for all vehicles due daily
Ensure that your costings are kept within the transport budget
Plan routes for up to up to 20 units & trailers with no maximum
Ensure Logistics administration is supported daily
Salary dependent on experience £28- £32 k per annum
Job Type:

Contract length: 8-12 weeks
Salary:
£13.00-£14.00 per hour
