£37,099 - £44,263 per annum

College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine / Edinburgh Medical School / Deanery of Biomedical Sciences / Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences

Full Time Contract: 35 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract: 24 months

The Opportunity:

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, curious and driven Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. The successful applicant will conduct high quality research on the mechanisms of circadian rhythm abnormalities of blood pressure.

The post holder will use a combination of established _in vivo _models and cutting-edge techniques and will contribute to the research publication.

Your skills and attributes for success:

Qualified to PhD level (or about to be awarded) in biomedical/life science area.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly, orally and in writing and with appropriate IT and interpersonal skills
Experience in working with laboratory animals
Experience in practical lab work, data manipulation and subsequent dissemination of research in form of publication.
