We are looking for an organised individual with excellent communication and IT skills who are customer focused with a professional telephone manner, who can maintain an accurate, up to date computerised clinical and equipment database following established procedures to provide a high standard of support to the Integrated &
Community Care Division.

To effectively carry out the day to day administration of the Wheelchair Service and Equipment Service in accordance with NHS & Trust policies, ensuring an effective service for the service user, colleagues and service commissioners

We are a dynamic team who's main focus is providing excellent service delivery to all stakeholders.

Ensure strict compliance with the recommended National ICES and Wheelchair Minimum Standards & Equipment Standards.


Utilise exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors, suppliers, and all relevant stakeholders.

Maintain an accurate, up-to-date computerised clinical and equipment database following established procedures.

Process purchase orders for equipment, meticulously recording all associated documentation.

Handle requests for equipment modifications, repairs, deliveries, and collections, while meticulously documenting all relevant information onto relevant systems.

Manage appointments and maintain an online diary as required.

Attend meetings and participate in training courses relevant to the role.

Collaborate with other agencies, such as Medical Engineering departments and Approved Repairers for the ICES and Wheelchair Service.

Enter referrals and re-referrals into the clinical database and dispatch relevant correspondence.


Undertake any other general clerical duties necessary to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the ICES and Wheelchair Service.
