Estimatoris required to work for a well-established Design and Build company based in Altrincham.

This company are a professional and high performing company who design and build projects in the commercial sector around the UK.

The rightEstimator will be joining a small dynamic team of 10 looking to deliver impressive projects and delight their clients.

The Estimator role will include estimating, putting together costs, technical evaluation, providing documentation for tenders, liaising with contractors, managing the commercial aspect of the project through to completion.

You will work alongside interiordesigners and project directors and may attend client meetings and design brief workshops.

This is a great opportunity for the right Estimator to make a great impression for a well establish company.

Estimator - Position Overview

Client facing role working on projects ranging from c. min £50k to £1m+
Coordination of design and subcontractor pricing within agreed timeframes
Preparation of detailed cost plans / budget guidance for client presentation and review
Full commercial aspects of projects
Arranging site surveys with contractors
Thorough examination of quotes, checking every element of the scope / brief is accounted for within the pricing

Estimator - Position Requirements

A good working knowledge of services installations, both electrical and mechanical
A strong awareness of the balance of risk and profit is essential
Good commercial understanding of the market and market values
Experienced negotiator
Excellent attention to detail
Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook
Good all round communication and presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks in line with deadlines
Experience with using CAD would be beneficial, however not essential for this role
Ability to complete a measured survey
