- £11.65 per hour

Over time rate after 37.5 is £17.16

Contract type:

Temporary - This will be a short contract, with the possibility to then move onto another warehouse within the local area.

Job description:

Working in a workshop environment, assembling consumer appliances, using power tools.
Ensuring products are correctly assembled in line with company and customer specifications.
Ensure that the correct quantities are produced in accordance with the daily production requirements.
Communicate with the Management team to ensure the correct quantities are produced daily, whilst paying particular attention quality and safety.
Ensure that the correct Job sheets and labels are always used for each job.
Advise the Line leader of any issues including monitoring the quality of products assembled.
Ensure that only product of the highest quality is produced and sent to the customer.
Work in an efficient manner to ensure tight deadlines set by the company are met.

Ideal skills and experience:

Some assembly or power tool experience is preferable, but not necessary you will learn on the job and all training will be provided.

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 7:003:00pm Friday 7:0012:00pm

Break entitlement:1x10 minutes and 1x20 minute - paid.

Transport required:

The site is on a public bus route and so no need to have own transport but to have own car / bike is an advantage.

10a bus route leaves you 5-minute walk to site, train station leaves a 10-minute walk.
