- £11.65 per hour

  • Over time rate after 37.5 is £17.16

Contract type:

Temporary - This will be a short contract, with the possibility to then move onto another warehouse within the local area.

Job description:


  • Working in a workshop environment, assembling consumer appliances, using power tools.
  • Ensuring products are correctly assembled in line with company and customer specifications.
  • Ensure that the correct quantities are produced in accordance with the daily production requirements.
  • Communicate with the Management team to ensure the correct quantities are produced daily, whilst paying particular attention quality and safety.
  • Ensure that the correct Job sheets and labels are always used for each job.
  • Advise the Line leader of any issues including monitoring the quality of products assembled.
  • Ensure that only product of the highest quality is produced and sent to the customer.
  • Work in an efficient manner to ensure tight deadlines set by the company are met.

Ideal skills and experience:


  • Some assembly or power tool experience is preferable, but not necessary you will learn on the job and all training will be provided.

Hours of work:


  • Monday to Thursday 7:003:00pm Friday 7:0012:00pm

Break entitlement:1x10 minutes and 1x20 minute - paid.

Transport required:

The site is on a public bus route and so no need to have own transport but to have own car / bike is an advantage.

10a bus route leaves you 5-minute walk to site, train station leaves a 10-minute walk.
