As the Head of People, you will be part of the senior leadership team, working closely with the Company Directors to develop and implement business strategies.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about putting people at the heart of everything they do.


Key Responsibilities and Role Objectives:


  • Act as a strategic lead on all things people and culture.
  • Develop and implement strategy for team engagement, training and development
  • Advise and support on processes relating to recruitment, selection and retention.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulation.
  • Supporting the organisation with HR related matters, including any flexible working, parental, performance, grievance, or disciplinary matters.
  • Work closely with business leaders and managers to deliver effective and engaging leadership coaching on; employee relations, compliance and performance management.
  • Advocate a positive and productive work environment that promotes employee engagement.
  • Lead the performance management process by evaluating learning and development demands.
  • Continuously review the company's benefits framework ensuring alinement with financial budgets.
  • Working alongside with the Finance Department on payroll matters.
  • To champion internal values initiatives.
  • Management of the HR and Payroll assistant.
  • Generation of HR reports and statistics for senior team.
  • Liaison with external bodies as necessary.

Knowledge and Experience

  • An individual looking for a rewarding challenge in an exciting growing family business.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience working as a Head of People.
  • Hold a relevant Degree or HR qualification.
  • Expert knowledge of people management principles, practice and control procedures.
  • Passionate about developing teams, empowering people to achieve and flourish.
  • Ability to communicate across all level, establishing trust and respect.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and GDPR.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and contribute toward its success on a daily basis.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and remain organised.
