Finance Manager

Location:
Barnoldswick

Salary:
£35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

Our client, a well-established, forward thinking, growing organisation require an experienced Office Manager to join their Finance team based in Barnoldswick.

The Role
̈ Managing a small team of Accounts staff

̈ Take responsibility for the sales and purchase ledgers

̈ Oversee Weekly Payroll Processing

̈ Balance sheet reconciliations

̈ Preparation and submission of VAT returns

̈ Sales, purchase and nominal ledger month end journals

̈ Calculation of sales and purchase rebates

̈ Updating and analysing cash flow

̈ Managing the costings

̈ Completing national statistic surveys

̈ Any other accounting duties

̈ General Administration support of Purchasing and HR Functions

About You
̈ You will be a full or part qualified accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA or QBE

̈ Proven experience of managing a finance function of a rapidly growing SME business is required

̈ High standard of literacy and numerical skills required

̈ Excellent Microsoft Office skills; especially Excel

̈ Excellent timekeeping and deadline driven

̈ Proactive and excellent attention to detail

̈ Ability to build good working relationships

̈ Willing and able to roll sleeves up and get involved
