Description

The post is based in the Rheumatology Department at Hammersmith Hospital (HH), which is one of the three main sites, together with St.

Mary's Hospital (SMH) and Charing Cross Hospital (CXH), forming the Rheumatology Unit at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The Unit provides General Rheumatology care and it is also a specialist centre for rarer conditions.

We deliver an in-patient, out-patient and rheumatology referral service across the three main hospital sites.

The post will be for and is suitable for a Trust grade doctor with a previous experience in working in a Rheumatology Department.

Outpatient clinics
Review of inpatients
Managing referrals and GP/patient queries
Endorse clinical results and sign prescriptions
Generate relevant documentation related to direct clinical care including GP letters and discharged summaries
Participate in clinical meetings and present relevant cases
Support the CNS team in dealing with clinical queries
Support service delivery of the Department and Trust as a whole
