Up to £24,000 per annum

Role:
PermanentWe are recruiting for an Events Manager/Co-Ordinator to join a long-established organisation, drive forward event opportunities, introduce new events and build a reputation as a great location for great events

Able to work to deadlines and be comfortable with a fast paced busy working environment
Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
A confident and agile communicator who can direct, influence and motivate others
Meticulously organised and strong administration and IT skills
Financially aware, ensuring client satisfaction and best value for the club

The role - Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the planning and communication of events with customers to ensure every detail is covered
Take responsibility for customer service, operational and administrative functions to fulfil event needs
Be a first and point of contact for customers and customer enquiries and external suppliers
Ensure appropriate staffing levels are planned ahead for events including a pool of temporary event staff that can be contacted and booked ahead
Coordinate the club event diary ensuring sufficient set up time, ensuring to maximise the use of the club at all times through research and launching new events
Ensure events are costed effectively to attract customers whilst delivering an agreed profit margin, profit margins
Ensure events are appropriately risk assessed and documented.

This local club and venue has a rich history since 1946 and has the scope and facilities to become a great location for multiple events for local clubs, businesses and the general public.

Our client is looking to maximise the use of their facilities that arecurrently undergoing a number of upgrades so its an exciting time for this popular local venue.

The club committee are looking for the right person to join in the role of Events Manager to help them drive the revenue and excitement that will come from a fullevents diary.
