Yorkshire Engineering Services are a distributor of bearings, power transmissions, hose & pneumatics with branches in East & North Yorkshire.

Our customer base is mainly industrial and agricultural, but we are open to the general public.

We are looking to recruit a technical sales assistant to our team in Goole.

Initial responsibilities of this job include trade counter and telephone sales (not cold calling), and stores management.

Duties will include general stores house-keeping, stock taking and replenishment, processing customer orders and assisting van drivers with organising deliveries.

This role will develop to include purchasing and technical sales, with some external sales when required.

No engineering experience required as full training will be given, however it would be beneficial. You should have good communication skills, a practical nature and not be bothered about getting your hands dirty.

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
