If you are a Maintenance Engineer with leadership experience, this is the role for you.

This is a great opportunity for you to put all of your skills and experience into practice, implementing new processes and procedures within the engineering departmentand build the team that will be working under your guidance.

Role:

Ensure production equipment is logged
Ensure PPM schedules are in place and being carried out on production equipment.
Advise and implement, new & upgrading of existing equipment to electronic industrial controls
Aid the introduction of new processes and equipment
Support all departments on the use, introduction and implementation of electronics.
Install electrical requirements of the company, including general maintenance and upkeep of production equipment
Keep up to date with new advances in electronics/electrics
Supervise junior maintenance engineers/technicians
Control and administration of all maintenance spare parts
Programming and setup of PLC controls

Skills and Experience:

Minimum Level 3 C&G/BTEC in an electrical/electronic engineering discipline or relevant apprenticeship
Experience in manufacturing environment and PPM work
Experience in working with panel wiring
Knowledge 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or a holder of 18th Edition would be highly beneficial
Train and mentor junior team members
Experience with PLC's
Able to make use of manual workshop machinery e.g. lathes and turret milling machines, cutting saws, pillar drills etc
