Description
Overnight role available at a claims management firm. We deal with emergency insurance claims from start to finish, dealing with policyholders and contractors. Our phone lines are open 24/7 and we are the first point of call for policyholders with emergencies.

This role is for a claims administrator to cover the overnight shift on Saturday evening. Each shift starts at 5pm and finishes at 9am the following day where day time staff will take over. You will be paid normal per hour day rate - 9pm as you are expected to cover daily tasks.

The hourly rate is then paid at half the rate per hour as from 9pm you are only expected to cover the phone line.


Cover of the phone lines is done at home, and you are expected to just cover the phone line from 9pm, not to do day to day tasks.

The phone is connected to your mobile so you are not expected to sit at a desk all night. You are expected to take any new claims and arrange an engineer accordingly. Call volumes will change each shift, with some shifts having few calls and others having more.

There are rarely phone calls past 10pm, but you will still cover the phone line until 9am the following day.

Training will be expected to be in person for 1 week, 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday (paid). We may be able to be flexible with training days if unable to do a weekday.

Our team is a small, friendly team with an informal and positive office environment.
