About us

Bridges Medical Practice are a friendly and welcoming GP practice based in Trinity Square in Gateshead town centre with approx 7,300 patients.

We have 1 GP partner, 8 salaried GP's, 1 long term locum, 1 Nurse practitioner, 2 Practice nurses, 3 Health care assistants and admin team.

All these roles are supported by our reception team who play a vital part in the day to day running of the practice.

Medical Receptionist
Managing appointment requests and signposting patients to our range of services.

Responding to patient queries and liaising with the wider primary care team.

Maintaining patient records and maintaining patient confidentiality

Utilising other information systems to support efficient workflow processes.

Process prescription requests in a timely manner.

Register new patients.

Taking part in all mandatory training, annual appraisal, and continued education, learning and development.


Qualifications:

GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths


Salary:
£11.20 per hour
