**What you'll be doing

  • Assist team with structuring, execution, and stakeholder management of securitisation transactions, with particular focus on quantitative, rating and commercial analyses in respect of ERMs and future product evolutions in residential mortgages.
  • Develop and maintain mortgage securitisation (cash flow) models to optimise new notes issuances. Perform structural analysis of securitisations, including impact of asset performance on securitisations structures.
  • Assist in evaluating new investment ideas by undertaking data analysis, quantitative modelling of expected returns and lead preparation of internal memos and committee papers to assess such opportunities.
  • Work alongside portfolio management function to improve efficiency of securitisations by analysing impact of underwriting quality and asset performance on securitisation structures.
  • Contribute to deal structuring through performing quantitative analysis including cash flow projections, investment returns and scenario analysis, and liaison with key internal functions (risk, finance, tax, internal ratings agency) to complete necessarygovernance.
  • Support new product development and other initiatives to increase assets under management with particular focus on quantitative comparable analysis of returns of mortgage investment opportunities.
  • Operate at all times within the Mandates and Risk Limits set by the Business Divisions to ensure appropriate control for the Group & ensure the principles of conduct risk are embedded in daytoday operations including treating customers fairly, in linewith firm objectives
**What we're looking for

  • Strong quantitative background and experience
  • Financial analysis / cash flow modelling skills are essential
  • Excellent VBA (Excel), R or Python modelling skills
  • Transaction experience (e.g. debt capital markets/structuring role or similar skill set) and experience in residential mortgages is preferable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
  • Experience working in a quantitative or structuring position at a bank insurance company, asset manager, rating agency or advisory boutique mandatory
