About the Role


As the Maths and English coordinator for Access Industry, you will design, develop and deliver an outstanding, inspiring and contextualised Maths and English curriculum.

Working closely with the Head of Business Improvement and the Head of Maths and English, you will form a critical part of the apprenticeship team and manage the overall progress and delivery for all M&E sessions whether it be through direct delivery or overseeing delivery by others.

You will understand the contextualisation of M&E within the workplace, work with employers to best support apprentices and look to embed M&E within core delivery as much as possible.


About You

Responsibilities:


  • To champion an outstanding apprenticeship maths and English curriculum.
  • To champion an outstanding service to employers and apprentices.
  • To own the delivery, assessment and teaching & learning of the apprenticeship M&E curriculum.
  • To work closely with industry trainers and coaches to support apprentice learning plans.
  • To engage with all organisational CPD and quality training.
  • To own maths and English timely achievement across the business unit.
  • To monitor maths and English attendance and work with the team to intervene where necessary.
  • To work with the HOBI and wider quality team to ensure provision is in line with Awarding Organisation requirements.
  • Planning and coordination of exams onsite and on employer premises, including the booking of exams and ensuring exams follow Awarding Organisation and JCQ requirements.

Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

  • Successful track record of delivering maths and English curriculum
  • Educated to degree level, or relevant professional qualification and/or experience
  • Successful track record of consistently meeting targets
  • Understanding of apprenticeship funding and assessment plans
  • Understanding of the Education Inspection Framework and the quality expectations of apprenticeship delivery

£25,000 - £35,000 per annum
