Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring top-notch product quality? We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at our facility in DN10 Austerfield.

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality within our carbon cathodes production process.

DN10 Austerfield


Shifts:
Days, Afters, Nights (Monday to Friday)


Hours:
Days: 6am-2pm, Afters: 2pm-10pm, Nights: 10pm-6am


Salary:
£12.71 per hour (all shifts)


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform thorough quality inspections on carbon cathode products at various stages of production.
  • Collect representative samples and conduct comprehensive testing to assess quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Utilize various measurement tools and equipment to evaluate product attributes, ensuring they meet established standards.
  • Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and generate detailed reports for analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to identify and address any quality issues, providing timely feedback and recommendations.
  • Proactively contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Participate actively in crossfunctional teams and quality meetings to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Previous experience in production quality inspection is essential.
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures, measurement tools, and inspection methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings to perform accurate inspections.
  • Detailoriented mindset with exceptional problemsolving skills.
  • Willingness to actively engage in handson work and adapt to varying shifts (days, afters, nights).
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and provide clear feedback.
  • Basic computer skills for recording and reporting inspection results.
