I am recruiting for Line Operators/Technicians to join our team.

Initially a 9 Month contract (end at the end of Dec 2023)

Ensuring the safety of you and team members at all times through following the defined equipment operational standards and ensuring you are trained and actively following all standard procedures (e.g.

LOTO, PPE, hazard tours, inspections and BOS/ OFS) is a vital part of this role:

Ensure any housekeeping/outages and or hazards in your surroundings are identified, escalated immediately and eliminated where appropriate

Report all accidents and near misses.

Ensure correct PPE requirement are clear and followed for all tasks.

Complete BOS/OFS audits as per system requirements.

Conduct quick risk prediction on non-standard tasks.

Be prepared to take any required action to highlight a safety hazard and escalate as required.

You are responsible for the quality of the product produced on your line being Right First Time

  • Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your own work.
  • Ensure clear understanding and compliance of all line and site quality procedures
  • Follow material movement and usage standards (i.e. SAP and RTCIS
  • If you move it scan, if you scan it move it), and highlight and fix any issues before proceeding
  • Report all quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions where necessary. Assist investigations and take part in implementation of root cause fixes.
  • Perform quality checks ensuring compliance with quality procedures.
  • Document/ input data accurately and do not assume or take risks.
  • Segregate waste in the correct manner.
  • Carry out all SAP reconciliation processes for job management


You are responsible with your team to deliver the PR targets by following the proven standards and continuously identifying and eliminating losses through the utilisation of appropriate systems and/ or tools.


  • Operate packing line processes to maximise results
  • Attend to and correct machine stoppages and to rectify where possible.
  • Carry out equipment and/ or system ownership tasks, CIL, defect identification and PO creation.
  • Carry out defect fixing and basic mechanical tasks by following documented procedures.
  • Ensure equipment is running in line with centre lines and agreed standards (e.g. machine calibration, speed, weight and crimp adjustments, etc) and highlight and fix any issues before proceeding.
  • Participate in changeovers, process adjustments and product changes online following defined standards.
  • Use knowledge and experience to constantly challenge and improve the changeover process

Line Opeartors deliver required results by seeking training and capability improving opportunities. Deliver ongoing improvement while driving the associated behaviour of ONE TEAM

  • Demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving, using IWS tools and techniques to identify problems and agree with documented actions.
  • Update any procedures and job aids ensuring compliance with standards
  • Participate in cross functional improvement groups
  • Liaise with Team Leaders, Eng Techs and other team colleagues to complete actions that will improve the line results.
  • Participate in projects and assist fellow Team Members to accomplish goals utilising your knowledge and expertise of the line processes.
  • Understand and embrace equipment/ system ownership.
  • Contribute to an effective teamworking environment in the day to day running of the line by establishing and maintaining productive working relationships
  • Ensure effective communication with oncoming shift at handover, completing any necessary job or task documentation accurately and legibly.
  • Provide feedback in a constructive way and encourage each other to promote success.
  • Provide or take part in any relevant formal or on the job training.
  • Take responsibility for identifying & communicating own personal training needs.
  • Effectively manage own time and resources to ensure work is completed with mínimal loss and highlight any support needed.
  • Maintain effectiveness when experiencing changes to work tasks or the working environment and highlight any support needed.
  • Work collaboratively with your team leader to support a fully staffed and capable Packing Department
