RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable

  • Invoices:
Monitor, track and post invoices to the correct internal GL codes. Contact suppliers to
resolve queries. Escalate issues where applicable to the CFO - Europe for further assistance and
timely resolution

  • Payments & Cash Allocation:
Ensure payment made to suppliers are made accurately and to the
supplier's instructions. Ensure that invoices are matched and cash payment are posted in a timely
and accurate manner. Contact suppliers prior to payment regarding any discrepancies

  • Customer Refunds:
Ensure customer refunds are paid and posted onto GL on a timely basis

  • Cash Book:
Maintain Cashbook on a daily basis reconciling both payments on and funds in. Posting
cash paid onto accounting system daily

  • Document Management:
Ensure all invoices are sent to document management company on a
monthly basis for scanning

  • Credit Cards:
Maintaining, administering and monitoring all Company credit card spend through the
on-line portal, and ensuring timely posting to the GL

  • Petty Cash:
Maintain Petty Cash float and maintain Perry Cash ledger

  • Warranty:
Prepare and pay monthly warranty payments to Approved Service Centres. Post cash to
accounting system once payment made

  • Adhoc Duties:
Prepare reports on an adhoc basis as required
Office Administration

  • Fuel Cards:
Monitor and maintain company fuel cards and toll tags, ordering replacement or new
cards as applicable

  • Stationery:
Monitor and maintain UK stationery

  • Accommodation:
Administering company overnight accommodation bookings

  • Consumables:
Monitor and maintain staff welfare consumables (tea / coffee / cleaning etc.)

  • Adhoc Duties:
Provide additional support to office based teams as required
Brand Ambassador

  • Develops effective relationships that add value to internal and external customers.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador in all interactions with customers ensuring relationships are built on
mutual trust.
Health & Safety

  • Actively promotes a culture of health and safety within the team and wider business.
  • Takes all practical steps to ensure their own safety at work and ensuring that actions or inactions
don't cause harm to any other person.

  • Follows all safety instructions, proactively reports hazards and incidents in the workplace, and
collaborates with H&S Representatives to continuously improve and develop work safe solutions.


QUALIFICATIONS
& EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience in a similar role and within a financial function is required
  • AAT professional qualification is desirable, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the appliance or consumer electronics industry is highly desirable
  • An effective communicator and confident with customer interactions
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Teams, Sharepoint
  • Analytical, methodical and logical, confidently evaluates financial data and reports
  • Good commercial awareness and legal understanding relating to regulations and legislations,
contracts, including financial practices

  • Able to show a positive and progressive attitude and a flexible approach to change
  • Have a strong desire for self-development and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Experience working within a "premium" culture and environment would be benefit
