The Avon Pension Fund is expanding and is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join its Employer Services teams

About the Avon Pension Fund

Employer Services


Working as part of the Employer Relations Team you will help and assist the Senior Pension Officers with the training and supporting of our scheme employers to ensure they fully understand and carry out their scheme responsibilities.

You will be required to manage your own workload, working as part of our busy pensions team and on your own projects, if required.


The main tasks include:

  • Processing changes to employer contacts
  • Overseeing and processing payroll changes
  • Assisting employers with queries
  • Monitoring and allocating the team inbox
  • Supporting Senior team members and the Employer Admissions team with the New Employer process

About You


Ideally, you will have experience in pension or financial administration, as well as an understanding of the Local Government Pension Scheme.

The ability top speak confidently to employers is essential, along with a strong work ethic and confidence in working independently as well as part of a team.
