Our client is a well established firm of Chartered Accountants, Registered Auditors, Tax and Business Consultants based in Banbridge and Belfast.

They are a modern, forward thinking accountancy practice whose client base ranges from sole traders and charities to high end retail clients to name a few.

Their client centred approach has established them within the marketplace and they now have an amazing opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant to join their team

Whether you are starting out or continuing with your professional accountancy qualifications, our client provide full support by funding all exam and course fees as well as providing paid study leave


The Role:


Responsibilities:


  • Reconciling core control accounts such as banks, debtors and creditors
  • Preparing draft corporation tax and capital allowance computations
  • Analysing key profit and losses figures
  • Producing final accounts in statutory format
  • Preparing accounts and carrying out audits
    Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 months experience working in an accountancy practice
  • Experience of preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Experience of using accounting software packages including Sage 50, QuickBooks or Xero
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Working knowledge of preparing VAT returns and payroll
  • Ideally an understanding of auditing for large limited companies would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and be comfortable liaising with clients independently
  • Ambitious with a hunger and determination to grow in the role and learn from your colleagues
  • Proactive, professional and be able to deal with pressure to respond to client demands
  • A selfstarter who can work on their own initiatives with mínimal supervision
  • Possess a full driving licence and access to a car when required
