About you:

You will be someone who can:

  • Demonstrate a strong, professional approach to managing bids, including outputs, formats, timescales, and resources.
  • Work with internal sales teams to help develop and create impactful pitch/presentation materials.
  • Communicate with prospects and internal stakeholders in an engaging way both in person and virtually.
  • Contribute to the development of highquality content and organise efficiently within the content library.
  • Be a great internal networker, and build strategic relationships with Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Success teams where appropriate.
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator, with the ability to implement strategies to improve sales and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to deadlines
  • Provide that WOW factor to our customers every time
  • Utilising marketing approaches to develop win themes and a strategy for high value projects.
  • Work with the Sales lead to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling.
  • Arranging technical and commercial content reviews to ensure all responses are accurate and up to date.
  • Manage all stages of the bidding process, specifically responding to Request for Information (RFI), Expression of Interest (EOI), Pre
  • Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ), and Invitation to Tenders (ITT)
  • Being accountable for managing complete bid lifecycle and ensuring accuracy of bid.
  • Organise/attend any necessary meetings and coordinate bid timelines and deadlines
  • Maintain and develop a library of strong template responses and content, clearly articulating Access' capability
  • Leading submission reviews and capturing feedback for continuous improvement of the sales and proposal process.
As a well-rounded Bid Manager, your Skills and Experiences likely include:

  • Excellent written English skills
  • Key knowledge of sales cycles and processes.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders, from a wide range of roles and seniority internally and with external prospects.
  • Have the creativity and desire to continually improve on corporate presentation styles and digital content.
  • Confident use of social media including networking to share sector relevant content, elevating the Access brand
  • Commercial/tender pricing experience.
  • Able to work on own initiative and to be selfmotivated
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with particular experience of reviewing, editing and proof reading documents
  • Excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritise activities based on the greatest commercial benefit to Access
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and drive decisions
